About Maison Carter

Maison Carter was founded by Elisha Carter, a visionary entrepreneur and former owner of The Cherry Moon. A celebrated lifestyle concept boutique on King’s Road that ran for five vibrant years. The boutique was twice nominated as a finalist for Best Independent Retailer, Best Visual Store Design, and Best Customer Experience, a testament to Elisha’s creative eye and dedication to excellence. Driven by a passion for purpose-led living, she went on to create Sustainable Discovery ,a biannual event hosted at the iconic Chelsea Old Town Hall, championing sustainable brands and conscious lifestyles. Now, Maison Carter emerges as the next chapter, a heartfelt expression of Elisha’s lifelong love for style, art, and the power of meaningful connection.

What began as a childhood passion for dress-up and boutique finds evolved into a grown-up mission, to create and co-design soulful pieces with the brands and artists who inspire me, from jewellery to wearable art and more.

Before Maison...

Before the name Maison Carter, there was a little girl piecing together outfits with joy, curiosity, and an eye for detail, with her every outfit worn.

Before the collaborations and creative-led collections, came a childhood love for boutique fashion, passed down from my stylish mother who would scour boutiques for one-of-a-kind pieces, for us both and my aunts who would design and sew the most beautiful simple dresses from fabrics such as velvets, satin, and broderie anglaise and cheesecloth, combining bold and beautiful prints always in rich, jewel, classics, and bright colours .

Before this new chapter, there was The Cherry Moon, my first lifestyle concept boutique on King’s Road, home to ethical, artistic finds and soulful storytelling by independent and emerging designers of 5 years.
